Funeral services for Audrie May Young of Tahlequah will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday,
January 6, 2010 in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor
John Lee. Serving as pallbearers are Brad Davidson, Aaron Young, Gary Don Davidson, Jay Young, Herman Augerhole and Ryan Bush. Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at tahlequahfuneral.com

Audrie May Young was born March 24, 1916 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Jessie Leonard Miller and Anna May (Hughes) Miller. Audrie passed away at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah on January 2, 2010 at the age of 93 years.

Audrie attended Limestone School in Bartlesville and played basketeball there.

On December 24, 1932 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Audrie married Bill Young.

On May 12, 1939 Audrie was baptized at the Silver Lake Baptist Church

In 1957 Audrie moved to Tahlequah where she made her home and raised her family. Audrie spent her time being a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren

Audrie is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Anna Miller; her husband Bill Young; a grandson, Donnie Young; three brothers, Pearl Miller, Bill Miller and Jimmy Miller all of Bartlesville, OK.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her three children, Billie Martin of Tulsa, OK; Jay Young and wife Chris of Tahlequah, OK; Sharon Davidson and husband Gary of Tahlequah, OK; five grandchildren, Debbie Martin of Tulsa; Sheri Cantero and Mike of Tahlequah; Brad Davidson of Broken Arrow; Jennifer Bush and Ryan of Broken Arrow and Aaron Young and Susan of Tahlequah; three great grandchildren, Emily Cantero, Matthew Cantero and Faith Young all of Tahlequah; two sisters, Jessie Quickle of Bartlesville, OK, and Mary Lamb of Mustang, OK., as well as many other family members, friends and loved ones who will dearly miss her.
