Funeral services for Buddy D. Taylor, 21, of Welling will be held 2:00 Wednesday, February 10, 2010, in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. John Lee of Park Hill Baptist Church. Serving as pall bearers are Tommy Garner, Terry Garner, Johnny Garner, Wayne Garner, Scotty Harrison, and Rick Holderbee. Honorary pall bearers are Aaron Palmer, Steve Garner, and Uriah Cookson. Interment will follow under the care of Green Country in the Caney Cemetery. Buddy was born March 14, 1988 the son of Steven Taylor and June Garner in Tahlequah. He passed from this life on February 6, 2010.
Buddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his niece and nephew. Buddy attended grade school at Tenkiller. He liked playing pool and riding his 4-wheeler. A Tahlequah High School graduate, Buddy was currently attending Carl Albert State College in Sallisaw.
Preceding Buddy in death are his maternal grandfather Francis “Buddy” Garner, and two uncles Kenny and Billy Ray Garner.
Buddy is survived by his paternal grandparents Ardith and Bennie Taylor of Welling; his father Steve Taylor of the home, mother June Garner of Tahlequah, sisters Jennifer Taylor, Breanna Hamby, and Chrystal Hamby all of Tahlequah; maternal grandmother Myrtle Garner of Tahlequah; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and loved ones, and his little dog Pugsy who will miss him greatly.
