Alton Earl Hoover Jr was born in Exeter, California on September 3, 1946 to Alton Earl and Violet (Overacker) Hoover. He departed this life on February 28, 2021 from, Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years 5 months and 25 days. Alton grew up in the Tailholt Community of Welling, Oklahoma and he had been a cross country truck driver. He worked as shop supervisor of Tri-B Nursery. He was a very loving father and grandfather. He is survived by three children; Ashley Hoover Howe and husband David, John Hoover and wife Lori, and Stephanie Hoover, all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma Katie Nodine, who is his bonus daughter; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Flud, Beulah Wright, and Ralph Hoover; as well as other family members and friends.
