Jacqueline Kay Brickey-Shade (Goot) was born on September 22, 1964, to Linda Kay and Jackie Lee Brickey in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Jackie attended Briggs school. She then attended Oaks High School where she played sports and graduated. From there Jackie attended college at Northeastern State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education. Jackie was a beloved teacher throughout multiple schools, where she spent the last years working at Briggs School as a paraprofessional and a bus driver. Jackie also worked as a dispatcher at Cherokee County 911 Center. Jackie loved rodeos and rodeoed herself on her horse Bill for much of her younger years. Jackie loved flea markets on her downtime. She had a heart of gold, and if you met Jackie, you would never forget her. She also loved spending time with her grandkids, family, and friends. She is survived in life by her other half of 33 years Patrick Henson, daughter Tamara Brickey, son Chad Shade and wife Danielle, son Richard Henson, grandkids Linda Kaylin Drywater and boyfriend Michael Lenaburg, Bentlee Jack Lazenby, and Noah and Norah Shade, and sister Lisa Gale and significant other Reece Cookson. And many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by parents Jack and Linda Brickey, paternal grandparents Eura and Melba Brickey, and maternal grandparents Con and Treva Maxine Tyer.
