Leon Breece Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Houston Leon Breece was born on July 22nd, 1949 in Wagoner, OK to the late George and Theda (Rhodes) Breece. Leon departed this world on June 11, 2022 in his home in Hulbert, Ok. He was raised in Hulbert and was a graduate of Hulbert High School in 1967. He would marry Ernesdean Shade and together they had one son, Matthew. Leon began his career working for the City of Tahlequah but could not deny his passion for horses at a very young age. He spent many years training, trading and trail riding. In addition, he enjoyed his days spending countless hours with a team of horses or mules and getting to participate in local parades. Leon would meet Judy K Rousey in the late 1980’s and make their home in Hulbert OK, where they shared many joyous years together. They most enjoyed working at horse sales, attending events for the grandkids and spending time with family. They especially loved to play Mr. and Mrs Clause for many families within the community. Those left to remember Leon are his son Matthew Breece and grandson, Jackson Breece of Fayetteville Arkansas. Ron and Lesa Daniels of Tahlequah. Grandsons, Hunter and Larrett Daniels and great grandkids Riggan and Renleigh. Special thanks to all the wonderful neighbors that have checked in and assisted when needed. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by many.
