Lorene Adams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lorene Adams was born in Welling, Oklahoma on May 17, 1947, to Leon and Delpha Sellers. She passed away April 11, 2022, in Talala, Oklahoma at the age of 74. In 1964 Lorene met the love of her life, Willard Nathan “Griz” Adams. They married and went off to enjoy 51 years of marriage. From this union came their two children, Tanya, and Jerry. Lorene and Willard enjoyed many years of camping, fishing, and traveling. In her later years she’d volunteer her time to help with the food pantry and enjoyed fellowship with family and friends. Lorene was a member of Welling Baptist Church for many years. Lorene was a wife, homemaker, and loved going to the zoo with her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, making many square dance dresses and clothes as well as many other items such as blankets for families, which they all loved. Lorene also was an avid collector of cardinals and enjoyed bird watching. Lorene is proceeded in death by her husband Willard Adams, father Leon Sellers, mother Delpha Sellers, and sister Ruby Green. Lorene is survived by her daughter Tonya Graham and husband Bill, son Jerry Adams and wife April, granddaughter Sarah Escoe and husband Ricky, granddaughter Laura Parish and fiancé James Hayes III, granddaughter Amber Self and husband Jerod, granddaughter Allie Leist, granddaughter Autumn Leist, great grandson Braxton Escoe, great grandson Braylen Escoe, great grandson Cooper, great granddaughter Adeline, brother Albert Sellers and wife Juanita, brother Clayton Sellers, and many extended family and friends.
