Susie Lee Chumley Skinner Susie Lee was born Sept 5, 1929, the daughter of Joel Clifton and Ila Mae (Menasco) Jernigan in Gary, TX. She passed from this world on July 29, 2021, at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 24 days at Tahlequah, OK A Christian, Susie loved Jesus Christ and had been a member of Owasso First Assembly. Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, painting, cooking, sewing, and canning. Preceding her in death are her husband James Emery “Jim” Chumley in 1992, following 47 years of marriage; her parents, Joel and Ila Jernigan; an infant son James Emery Jr., and son Jimmy Chumley; Also four deceased Brothers, Robert, Billie, Leo as an infant, and Shannon Jernigan; and two Sisters, Mae Menasco, and Matline Chumley. She is survived by children Nancy Ann Jones and husband Galard of Tahlequah, Paul Lynn Chumley and wife Denice, of Waurika Diania Frazier of Coweta, Tammy Talkington and husband Randy of Fall River, KS, Monty Chumley and wife Debbie of Wagoner, and Ila Herron and husband Kip of Owasso; Daughter-in-Law Kathy Chumley; 30 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren; brother Clifton Wayne Jernigan and wife Nelda of Plainview, TX, Sister Tamsey Louise Schlegal of Wichita Falls, TX; and her beloved Dog, Miss Molly; along with many other relatives, friends and loved ones. Susie loved them all.
